Insights into the BORN Project: Development and Successes with Dr. Maurice Heimer

The BORN-project of the Bavarian Center for Cancer Research (BZKF) is making swift progress in its second funding phase. A key aspect of the project is the development of structured reporting templates, which aim to make radiological diagnostics more efficient and standardized.

In an exclusive interview with Dr. Maurice Heimer from the Clinic and Polyclinic for Radiology at the LMU Munich, we reflect on the first funding phase. We discuss the challenges and successes in developing the lung reporting templates and gain insights into the further development of the project.
