From initial read to consensus – structured reporting in practice at RÖKO 2026

As part of RÖKO 2026, we are pleased to invite you to an interactive hands-on workshop on lung cancer screening in accordance with the requirements of the German Federal Joint Committee (G-BA).

With the introduction of the national lung cancer screening program, structured reporting, standardized workflows, and double reading are becoming increasingly central to radiological practice. This workshop provides a practical, case-based introduction to implementing these requirements – from the initial read to consensus decision-making.

Workshop Content and Objectives

This two-hour workshop combines concise expert updates with a hands-on practical session.

Hands-On Session: Double Reading and Consensus Workflow

During the practical session, participants will work independently at dedicated workstations and go through the full screening workflow:

  • Performing initial reads based on realistic case examples
  • Conducting second reads based on pre-existing, intentionally divergent reports
  • Analyzing discrepancies and simulating a consensus conference
  • Documenting the final result in accordance with G-BA requirements 

Each case is designed with a specific learning objective, highlighting key aspects of structured reporting in lung cancer screening.
