Job Description
The responsibility of product management at Mint Medical is to ensure that the products we build deliver maximum value to our customers. As a highly modular product, mint Lesion serves a variety of users across different environments, from physicians creating or receiving radiological reports in clinics and radiological practices, to academic researchers in university hospitals, to radiologists and project managers in Contract Research Organizations and pharmaceutical companies.
As a product manager at Mint Medical, you will be responsible for applications in the domain of radiological reporting and will contribute to discovering and deciding how to further evolve this product segment. In a dedicated, cross-functional product team, you will take on the role of Product Owner, working closely with software development and UX design. Additionally, you will engage in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, quality assurance, and other departments. As a product manager, you will contribute individually, just like other roles in product development, and need to be able to influence coworkers, stakeholders, and leadership through solid data and compelling arguments. Above all, a strong passion to contribute to the technology-powered improvement of healthcare will be key drivers of your success.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Deep knowledge of users, customers, and industry
- Build and continuously develop your understanding of customers and their needs
- Conduct regular interviews with users and key opinion leaders to gain feedback and actionable insights
- Keep up to date with industry, market and technology trends and opportunities
- Regularly analyze customer feedback, usage data, sales insights, and competitor activities
- Document and share knowledge and insights with the larger team
- Understand product-related business areas and their constraints, including customer service, quality management, legal, sales, and marketing
- Build a solid, hands-on knowledge about how our product actually works
- Continuous product discovery
- Based on customer knowledge and insights, identify, prioritize and propose new product opportunities in alignment with product and business strategy
- Work with software development and UX design to jointly discover and refine solutions ideas for promising product opportunities
- Review and share insight of product discovery activities with the larger team and management
- Co-develop and conduct user tests to evaluate solution ideas with end-users
- Support the development team to implement, release and deliver software solutions
- Participate in the evaluation of project proposals
- Sales and marketing support
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of product related marketing and sales materials
- Support sales by answering clinical and technical questions
- Participate in on-site visits and tradeshows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- Experience of working on software products as product manager, software engineer, UX designer, user researcher, or related roles
- Demonstrated ability to find effective solutions to difficult problems
- Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to present an argument both verbally and in writing in a well-structured form
- Solid understanding of the methods of contemporary product management and product discovery techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently with limited supervision, and in multi-disciplinary teams with software engineers, designers, and leaders in a collaborative and constructive way
- Experience in the fields of radiology and digital health is highly advantageous and will be given particular consideration in the selection process
- Fluent in written and spoken English and at least B2 level in German
- Willingness to relocate to Heidelberg
