PROJECT RACOON: RADIOLOGICAL COOPERATIVE NETWORK IN ALL GERMAN UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS | PROJECT PRESENTATION ON NOVEMBER 5

The COVID 19 pandemic has shown that the German healthcare system needs to catch up – in some cases there is a lack of reliable medical data, nationwide networking structures and adequate digitization. RACOON has succeeded in linking all university hospitals in Germany in the largest university medical networking initiative to date. This will create an unprecedented radiological data base for research into COVID-19 and other lung diseases. At Mint Medical, we are proud to be a key research and development partner in this revolutionary project.

On November 5, the entire RACOON network will present at the closing ceremony of the German Congress of Radiology and will go into detail on how the collected data will be used to further develop artificial intelligence and thus gain and make available new insights into the COVID-19 disease. Prof. Maria-Katharina Ganten and our colleague Felix Gruler will present on the topic of “Germany-wide structured reporting” at 15:30. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

The following links will provide you with content information as well as access instructions. Please note that the presentations will be held in German.
