mint Lesion™ in KSA

Quality is not a coincidence: Canton Hospital Aarau opts for mint Lesion™ to monitor the therapy success of its routine cancer patients

After go-live of mint Lesion™ in January 2013 which included an in-house training of about 20 users, the switch from a manual assessment of oncological therapy courses to mint Lesion™ was performed within a very short time. Only a few month later, all therapy courses of oncological patients have been comprehensibly and in a structured way documented in mint Lesion™.

“With mint Lesion™, we provide our oncologists with a standardized, objectively verifiable, and reproducible analysis of medical images. Communication of results is consistent and transparent; therapy planning can be performed mostly without queries. With mint Lesion™ generated graphs and results ease the demonstration of complex oncological cases in tumor boards”, says Prof. Thomas Roeren, Head of the Insitute for Radiology, describing some advantages of the solution.

mint Lesion™ is seamlessly integrated in the GE RIS/PACS infrastructure. “The technical integration of mint Lesion™ into our PACS environment went smoothly and very efficiently. The implementation has been excellently prepared by Mint Medical, and could be completed within a remarkably short time. Also subsequent adjustments are implemented promptly and in a competent manner”, says Beat Hauri, Application Manager PACS.
